How to create a task from SharePoint Portal

Actionspace addin for SharePoint allows to create tasks directly from your corporate SharePoint Portal as well as from Actionspace interface.

To create a new Actionspace task from SharePoint Portal:

  1. Open your SharePoint portal,
  2. Go to Files tab, and click on  . The new Actionspace task form will appear on the screen. Edit it and send into work.


To create a new Actionspace task out of any SharePoint object:

  1. Open your SharePoint portal.
  2. Go to Files tab, and then click Documents or Tasks.
  3. Choose the SharePoint object you want to use to create a new task, and in the context menu select Attach to New Actionspace Task. The new task will be created with the same name as the chosen SharePoint object. You will be set as a responsible. The chosen object will be added to the task as a link.
