How to add a task to an existing project

You can fill the project with tasks not only when you create a new project or edit existing one. But also you can expand your project by adding there already existing tasks (or even projects).

The task can only be attached to a single project and the task's due date should be within the project duration.

How to add a task to the existing project:

  1. Open the task you would like to attach to an existing project. If the task is not included into any project, the Add to Project button will be available.

  2. Click on  and select the project you would like to attach the task to. Use the search line to find a project quicker. Once you find the project, select it and click Add. If something went wrong, the error description will be displayed. If the task was successfully attached to the project, you will see the following message: The task has been successfully added to the project.
  3. The task attaches as a concurrent task, and it is displayed in the bottom of the project's task list at  tab of the project.
  4. To schedule the task within your project and set dependencies, use the Gantt chart view.
