How to assign a task

In Actionspace, you can easily assign tasks to your colleagues or external users (e.g., contractors).

  1. Open an existing task or create a new task.
  2. To choose the assignee, start typing his/ her name in To: field and then select the name from the drop-down list.
    If you want to assign a task to yourself, just leave the To: field blank.
  3. Specify other task details (if necessary).
  4. Send the task to the assignee by clicking  . The task status will be changed to Assigned. When the responsible accepts the task, the task status will change to In Work

All assigned tasks can be found in Tasks To Control and All Tasks sections of dashboard.
